Dog description

Daisy is an intelligent, alert dog. She showed up at my workplace in spring of 2011 and, after being fed chicken tenders, attached herself to me. She opened doors and let herself out of buildings to find me, rather than be locked up by herself. She is so smart. Daisy is a mix of some kind - pit bull and some kind of bird dog is my best guess. She is brave, and loves the outdoors. I nick-named her

Dog summary

Daisy is a terrier-something mix who loves to shred tennis balls and sticks.

Quirk

Does best

She is a party starter. She loves people and greets everyone, everywhere, every time.

Fun Story

Daisy loves playing with children more than almost anything else. One time, on a canoe trip, we were going past three boys playing in the water. Daisy started whining and stamping her feet, like she was going to run. Before I could stop her, she leapt over the side of the canoe and into the water, swimming to the boys to play with them. She had completely forgotten about me or my canoe and we were 50 yards downriver before she realized we were drifting away from her. She swam and caught up to us - she was not deterred, and did it again and again.
