Several years ago I took her to a parade, as we made our way down the crowded sidewalk to meet up with friends, Scruffy thought everyone was there to see her. She stopped and greeted almost everyone and she still loves to be the center of attention wherever she goes. 1 LikeLoading... Sex: Female Owner's Stated Breed Mix: Dog description
She’s a purebred and pure angel. I purchased her from a breeder in Colorado, who had the necessary tests for her parents. I witnessed her mother through her pregnancy, making visits, and I met Frankie when she was 2 days old. She’s a blue Merle with Irish markings and copper points. She’s intelligent , gentle, wary of strangers, adventurous, and obedient. She’s curious - when I come home she shoves her nose in all of my bags to see where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to. She requires a LOT of attention, which is great as I’m not into aloof breeds. She’s great off leash, a good running partner, and the BEST hiking partner. She likes frisbee and fetch. She’s a wonderful watch dog. At 45lbs she’s fit, has all of her teeth, sees well, and has no health issues. She’s never been bred, FYI. We use a kibble diet, trying to hit a 20/30 fat to protein ratio (we use Froms). She’s UTD on vaccines and we use the simparica monthly flea meds. She is not on heart worm medication since we moved to Seattle, but she was on it when we lived in Denver. Apart from her spay, she’s never had any major surgery. Her tail was docked and dewclaws removed when she was 5 days old. I grew up with an Aussie and she is everything I imagined she’d be. ❤️ Dog summary Our 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, Frankie. She Quirk She loves to present her butt for scratches. It can be alarming, but it Does best She's an incredible athlete. She keeps pace with me while I train for races, she is a great backpacking companion. She's great running off-leash and heels pretty well for a shepherd! Fun Story My favorite story details her intelligence and most un-dog-like behavior. We went for a walk around our block and when we got home, my boyfriend and I were chatting in the bedroom until we realized how eerily quiet it was in the living room... I walked into find Frankie chewing on some pork bone she had picked up outside. The outrageous part about this story is that she hid her treasure in her mouth from us, which demonstrates delayed gratification and forethought we don Please see your dog's personality profile prediction below for your dog.
