Fun Story Tyche had a rough start: found on the street just eight weeks old, she sat in animal control alone in a kennel until I adopted her at six months. Although she missed out on crucial socialization periods, we have worked hard to help her overcome her past. She is a very confident dog who is a fantastic little traveler, content to sit buckled in her safety harness, looking out the window for hours on end. Her passion in life is lure coursing. While still a 20-pound puppy, at a community lure coursing event, after catching her lure, she hopped over two 4-foot snow fences to assist the dog in the neighboring course catch his. At another event a couple years later, she wiped out while chasing the lure (a white plastic bag). She lost sight of it...but she did see a white plastic bag swept by the wind on the other side of the city park. She got up, busted headfirst through heavy duty snow fencing and chased down that bag, then returned to the course, rather proud of herself.
